Man suffers face wound after being bit at chicken takeaway

DETECTIVES are appealing for information after a man was bitten at a Colchester takeaway.

The victim, aged in his 20s, was in Southern Fried Chicken, St Botolph's Street, at about 3am on Thursday, February 13.

A spokesman for Essex Police said: "He was bitten on the left side of his face near his jawline by another man, sustaining an open wound which required hospital treatment."

A 30-year-old man from Darlington was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and released on bail pending further enquiries until Tuesday.
