A NEW chief executive has been appointed to lead the Colchester-based national charity MS-UK.
And Amy Woolf did not have far to go - as she is Colchester through and through.
The charity, which offers advice, information and therapy to people with Multiple Sclerosis, is based at the Hythe - just a couple of miles from where Amy grew up.
Amy, who is 32, was born in the maternity hospital when it was in Lexden Road, Colchester, and grew up in Wivenhoe.
She hopes to increase the charity on a national level - while serving the people on its doorstep.
