OFFICERS investigating the death of a man at Brentwood station on Monday morning believe he lived locally.
At about 7.40am the male was struck by a train at the station and pronouced dead at the scene leading to major disruption during the day along the Greater Anglia line.
British Transport Police are treating the death as non-suspicious and earlier this morning said the deceased is "believed to be aged 51 and from the local area".
The name of the deceased has not been revealed yet and a file is being prepared for coroner.
