Passengers are facing major delays after a person was hit by a train at Brentwood.
The emergency services are on site and Greater Anglia is warning that the delays could be up to 60 minutes.
The lines have now reopened and services are expected to begin at 11am.
The company is advising people not to travel unless absolutely necessary.
c2c railway, TfL Local Buses and TfL Underground are passing Abellio Greater Anglia passengers on all reasonable routes.
A spokesman said tickets bought today would be valid for tomorrow and apologised for the delays.
