POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was robbed near a cashpoint in Dovercourt.

A man in his 20s was in a vehicle with a friend waiting for another to use the cashpoint at the junction of Cliff Road and Main Road at about 6pm on Saturday when they were approached by three men.

They were attacked, causing minor injuries, and the suspects stole cash and a Samsung tablet computer.
