A PUBLIC meeting will tell residents about the next phase of the development of the Northern Approach Road.
Contractors need to install drains down a stretch of land running alongside the existing Northern Approach Road by tunnelling from Mill Road to a point midway between Dickenson Road and Wallace Road.
It is part of the work needed to create a drainage system for the Severalls Hospital site, where the first of 1,500 homes have been built.
County council workers and representatives from contractors Bam Nuttall will be at a public information event at Queen Boudica Primary School on Wednesday.
Rodney Bass, councillor responsible for highways, said: “I hope as many local residents as possible are able to attend this public information event, to learnmore about howworks are progressing.”
The event takes place between 4.30pm and 8.30pm.
The plans will be available to view online from Thursday at www.essex.gov.uk/nar3
