Two teenage boys have been arrested in connection with a botched robbery in Witham.
The arrests followed a successful police appeal after an attempted raid at Ladbrokes, in Newland Street, on January 7.
A female member of staff was assaulted by two people during the incident, before they ran out empty-handed.
The boys, aged 15 and 17, and both of Witham, were arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of attempted robbery.
They were later bailed until April 7, pending further enquiries.
