A SOLDIER has been charged with an assault in Colchester town centre.
Josh Massey, 22, is accused of being behind an attack in St Botolph’s Street which left a man in his 20s with serious head injuries.
The victim was treated at Queens Hospital, Romford, following the attack shortly after 3.30am on Sunday July 14.
Massey, of Circular Road South, was first arrested in October but was charged by police today when he answered bail.
