A man was rescued by West Mersea’s lifeboat team after his dinghy sunk.
The RNLI Lifeboat was called out at 7.50pm on Saturday night after the dinghy was spotted in the Mersea Quarters.
They found the man clinging to a moored vessel and he was rescued.
He was given a medical assessment by the coastguard team but did not need any further treatment.
