Pictures stolen from graves in Colchester
2:54pm Tuesday 15th October 2013 in News
A SIGNED photograph left by a little girl on her dead mother’s grave has been stolen.
The three-year-old was so pleased to learn how to write her name she signed a picture of the two of them together.
Her father put the photo in a frame and went with her to the nearby Colchester Cemetery and Crematorium, in Mersea Road.
It was placed on the grave of her mum but by yesterday it had gone.
A second theft of pictures and frames has also been reported after distraught relatives visited following the weekend.
Anyone with information about the theft call Colchester's neighbourhood crime team on 101.
