New businesses to get advice
3:34pm Monday 14th October 2013 in News
FINANCIAL support will be given to new businesses in Colchester.
The Eastern Enterprise Hub has teamed up with Foundation East to hand out advice at its new centre at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.
Everything from developing a good business plan to how to access financial support will be offered in the 20 sessions.
Simon Mead, CEO at the EE Hub said: “One of the biggest concerns from the start-ups we’ve met in Colchester is access to finance.
“When finance providers are looking into the potential risk in lending new business, they take into account track records, business acumen and training.
“What Foundation East are really interested in are the people and their potential and so its very reassuring to know that as part of this initiative, the organisation will get to know our students and be in a better position to offer finance.”
