Teen to host charity open mic night
1:08pm Monday 26th August 2013 in News
A teenager is putting her love of music to good use by hosting a charity open mic night.
Charlotte Hooper, 14, of Nicholsons Grove, is organising the fundraiser in aid of Help Harry Help Others.
The charity was set up by Harry Moseley, who died of a brain tumour aged 11.
The pair used to speak on the social networking site Twitter before Harry passed away in 2011.
Charlotte said: “I used to talk to him a lot before he died.
“After he died his mum carried on his Twitter account and his campaign."
Charlotte’s fundraiser will be held in Cardinal Bourne Hall in Priory Street from 7pm on September 21.
