In today's Gazette: A mum and daughter have been accused of conspiring to sell guns and ammunition to crime gangs.
Caroline Hunter-Mann-Purdy, 63, of Little Oakley, and her daughter Lullahbelle Purdy, 25, deny helping to convert antique guns into deadly weapons.
* Princess Anne visited Harwich to see the inner workings of shipping safety organisation Trinity House.
The Princess Royal, who is Master of the Corporation at Trinity House, received a tour of headquarters in Harwich Quay.
* A teeanger has been charged with murder following the fatal stabbing of Thomas Brittain, 26, in Colchester.
Andre Villa, 19, of Village Way, Kirby, is due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates Court today.
* Chartered surveyors have reported the highest sales level of houses for more than two years.

I am certain this article it not referring to the high end James Purdey & Sons Ltd, Gunmakers.
