A NUISANCE tenant has been banned from having overnight guests after complaints from his neighbours.

Greenstead resident, Matthew Stowe, 33, was handed an anti-social behaviour injunction (ASBI) at his home in Stanley Wooster Way, Greenstead.

The six-month order bans him from causing any nuisance as well as having people stay over.

It follows two years of complaints from his neighbours about his late night parties with large crowds of friends and people running throughout the flat knocking on doors or ringing doorbells and running away.

Two years of complaints! How about three strikes and you're out?
Who exactly is going to police his ASBI surely not Colchester Borough Council. They should have dealt with this after six months.
About time CBC got pro-active with their nuisance tenants.
