Police investigate teenage sex assault in Greenstead

POLICE are investigating a sex assault on a teenage girl in Greenstead.
Officers are appealing for information after the schoolgirl was grabbed from behind on Forest Road, Colchester, just before 3.30pm yesterday.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: “Police are investigating an allegation of sexual assault.
“A young teenage girl is reported to have been approached and grabbed from behind while walking along Forest Road.
“The offender is then reported to have run off.”
The suspect is a white man who was wearing a cream coloured leather jacket and a dark blue hooded top.
