Tim Gilbert, who works at Towergate Insurance, Colchester, has been crowned Fit Brit 2012.
AN INSURANCE worker has been named Britain’s fittest person.
Tim Gilbert, 31, was crowned Fit Brit 2012 after beating 4,000 other gym fanatics in a speed and strength test.
He took just 11 minutes and 17 seconds to row 500 metres, do 30 shoulder presses, 30 bunny hops, a three kilometre bike stint, 30 press ups, 30 box jumps, 30 squats, and a one kilometre treadmill run.
Tim, who works in a business development at Towergate Insurance, based in the Octagon, Middleborough, Colchester, set a qualifying time and then beat 50 finalists to claim the title.
