Chloe bags her man on Take Me Out

A BARMAID had a birthday treat when she bagged her man on the last episode of a TV show.

Chloe Wraith, of Weavers Green, Fordham, was chosen by the very last man to appear on this series of Take Me Out – Joe Rankin.

The episode was filmed on her 22nd birthday in December.

Chloe, a barmaid at the Three Horseshoes in Fordham, said: “I was on it from the beginning to the very end.

“Because it was my birthday I did think ‘If I have got a chance it’s got to be today’.

“Joe had the most lights to turn off, he had 24.

“There was no way I knew he was going to pick me. Paddy McGuinness actually came to me at one point so I got to speak to Joe for ten seconds.

“I suppose he liked what I said.

“When we got down to six girls to choose from you do start assessing who you are up against.

“But I got down to the last two and gave him a really cheesey line and Joe picked me.”

Chloe decided to apply for Take Me Out after her relationship with her boyfriend of three and a half years ended.

She has since become a local celebrity in Fordham, where residents have taken a keen interest in her goings on.

Chloe and Joe were whisked away to the Isle of Fernandos, near Tenerife, for a three –day date.

As well as romantic dinners they enjoyed horse riding – a challenge for Joe as he had never ridden before.

Despite enjoying her time on the show and meeting Joe, Chloe said there unfortunately isn’t a future for them.

She said: “Joe lives in Liverpool. We had a lovely evening but the distance is too much.

“I have made a really good friend out of him though and that’s enough for me.”
