Reader scoops Kenya trip of a lifetime

A SAFARI awaits one lucky reader after she won a luxury holiday to Kenya.

Sue Satchell, from Halstead, collected tokens before being picked at random to win the five day trip.

The Gazette offered the holiday after teaming up with Safarilink. The trip includes luxury camping, visits to Maasai Mara tribes, and the chance to see big cats, elephants, zebra and other wild animals.

Sue said: “I am still in shock. I was so surprised when I found out I had won.

“The competitions in the new-look Gazette are really good and I always enter and check my Astute card numbers.

“I have never won anything like this before and the trip looks really good. I’ve not been to Kenya or even Africa before but it is something I have always wanted to do - you see it on the TV and never think you are going to go and see the animals for real.

“There is a whole list of people who want to come with me so will have to whittle them down and choose one.”
