Jewellery burglaries continue in Colchester with another home raided

JEWELLERY thieves have continued a countywide crime spree this time raiding a home in Langham Road, Colchester.

Essex Police issued advice for residents after a spate of jewellery thefts across the county which are still continuing.

Officers were called to the property after it was raided sometime between 10.45am and 1.30pm on Tuesday, February 12.

They got in by smashing a rear downstairs window before stealing various items of jewellery.

across the county? more like across the town - I have heard of a spate of similar incidents in and around the Highwoods, St Johns & Ipswich Road area over the last 3 months - seems to be that this particular area is being targeted - Now Langham Road - hmmmm I wonder what is in the epicentre?
