Newsagents targeted second time in a week
POLICE are stepping up patrols after vandals launched an unknown object at a newsagents.
Foleys in Gravel Hill Way, Dovercourt, suffered more than £200 of damage to its glass door after the attack on Monday, February 18, at around 1.45am.
The owner saw three youths running away towards Abbot Road.
The damage comes a week after raiders stole scratch cards and a till containing a three-figure sum of cash from the shop.
Burglars broke in just before 5.30am on Tuesday, February 12, after forcing the front door.
Harwich Pc Sarah Latchford said: "We will be paying extra attention to the area and we will prosecute anyone found responsible."
