A CHARITY event postponed because of bad weather is set to take place next week.
A Night in The Cells, which will see a number of public figures sentenced to a maximum of 12 hours in jail, will now take place next Friday, February 22.
It had been due to take place on Friday, January 18.
It will see magistrate Bonnie Hill sentence the public figures, including Colchester Mayor Christopher Arnold, Gazette head of content James Wills and features reporter Neil D’Arcy-Jones, according to how much money they have raised for the Mayor’s charities.
Sentencing will take place at the old Magistrates’ Court, in High Street, from 6pm.
Tickets are still available on 01206 282206.
