PEOPLE wishing to find out more about private fostering can do so next week.
An information event hosted by Essex County Council will be held at Colchester Library from 1pm on Friday February 15.
The council hopes the event will inform residents about private fostering with a professional on hand to provide advice. Private fostering occurs when a child aged 16, or 18 if disabled, lives with someone who is not a close relative for more than 28 days and the council must be informed of the situation.
