CELTIC storytellers spun their tales for pupils at a Greenstead school.
Renowned yarn spinner Jim McCool and son Ambrose visited the Colchester Academy, in Hawthorn Avenue, to perform old songs rhymes and stories from Scotland and Ireland.
During workshops the children got involved with the catchy tunes by joining in with the chorus and learning the origins of the classic songs.
