Water sales raise air ambulance cash

CATERING outlets at Essex University’s Wivenhoe campus have raised more than £1,100 for Essex Air Ambulance.
Five pence from the sale of every bottle of Schweppes Abbey Well in the academic year 2011-12 has been donated to the charity, which was nominated by staff working for Hospitality Essex, the university’s catering section.
Christine Thomas, volunteer representative from Essex Air Ambulance said: “The university is a good supporter of Essex Air Ambulance and we are very grateful for the donation.”
