So, we read of a 72 year old in a coach and a bus,
did he also take a train and a plane on his journey that day?
Did he start from colchester heading to wherever,
or return from wherever to colchester,
or was he just a confused old guy on a bus going home.
a short story, made even shorter by confusing edit.

But was it in Colchester? The only Remembrance Avenue I can find is in Hatfield Peverel.

OK, it is hurried journalism but everybody knows the paper is under pressure and its journalists likewise. You all know what the story is about, so don't be too pedantic.
