RIP Paul. You did a lot of good in Colchester. It was great working with you. It should never have come to this.

Rape is an appalling crime, and if someone is convicted of it then he must serve his sentence. But this sad little story exposes a massive scandal, that of deaths in custody. Hundreds of people take their own lives in police cells and prisons. Not nearly enough is done to try to stop prisoners from ending it all.
Congratulations to Jess for standing by his friend and telling us that Paul Gigg did a lot of good. RIP.
