Motorist trapped after Middleborough crash
A MOTHER had to be cut free from her car with neck and head injuries after a crash at a busy roundabout.
Police, fire and paramedics were called to Middleborough roundabout near Westway just before 2.30pm today.
A blue Hyundai and dark coloured Jeep Cherokee collided leaving the mother injured but fortunately her young daughter was unharmed.
Firefighters spent an hour cutting her free before she was placed on a spinal board and taken to Colchester General Hospital for treatment.
The injuries are not life threatening.
