HARDY postmen have vowed to wear shorts all year round to raise money for charity.

The Great Horkesley posties have an annual tradition of seeing who can last longest wearing shorts during winter.

But this year, Royal Mail employees, Martin Hobbs and, former Colchester Utd captain, Tony English, are aiming to last for 12-months.

Call the H&S Gestapo - the Royal Mail depot in Cheltenham has banned shorts as "...the health and safety of our staff and risks of frostbite and chapped skin should not be taken lightly"
