THE head of Essex University is asking how the institution can contribute to the local community.
Vice-chancellor Professor Anthony Forster asked for discussion with businesses, politicians and the community in his first blog post.
With the university’s 50th anniversary next year Prof Forster is keen to look at ways to strengthen bonds with its neighbours and promote growth and new jobs.
