2:00pm Sunday 13th January 2013 in News By Wendy Brading
CLIMATE warriors marched through the streets of Colchester to urge shoppers to join the revolution.
The climate revolution is an eco-uprising lead by iconic fashion designer Dame Vivienne Westwood and hosted by more than 100 Lush Cosmetic shops across the UK.
Five shop workers from the Colchester store took part in a silent protest march through the busy town centre on Saturday.

Climate Warriors! They all need a good wash and something serious to worry about.

My opinions are so much better informed by the anonymous ramblings of the clueless on the Gazette website, rather than listening to experts, quite clearly.
Yes there is climate change, no it isn't caused by mankind! It's been happening for millions of years & will continue for many more after we're all dead & gone. It's the new religion which is also another good way to dip into peoples pockets. If Ms Westwood was so concerned then it must have been one hell of a bike ride for her to get to Colchester from her home many miles away? & how are her clothes distributed? by donkey? the sea & rotting vegetation produce around 770 gigatons of Co2 per year & humans around 6, who's the bigger culprit? So, what we gonna do? tax the sea? Tax the leaves on the trees?
I await comments of herecy :o)

Well said Taximan - at last some common sense brought to this debate. Despite what some would have you believe there is no "consensus" among scientists on the issue - in fact proponents such as the IPCC have had to fabricate evidence to support their spurious claims of "global warming". Since the supporters of this ridiculous premise could not prove that in fact man made activities were warming the planet they quickly changed the debate to one of "climate change". As you stated the climate changes continually and is impacted far more by naturally occurring phenomena (solar flares for example) than anything human beings contribute. This is just another hysterical clamouring of the liberal left to dip into our pockets one more time in pursuit of their radical social agenda.

We are going to run out of fuel long before we can do significant damage however. If no significant new method of using energy is developed we can all look forward to living in caves.
I take your point Smith W that the economic system needs perpetual economic growth. It is true because growth is required to pay the interest on debt that is raised as capital. It is also true however that in any decent society, which doesn’t allow people to come to harm, the population will continuously increase placing more and more pressure on finite resources.
Innovation and scientific progress is the only real solution.

Alex Jones is obviously right. Let's all go and buy a gun! Quick!
Research Agenda 21. They have plans for us all. Not good plans either. Climate change is their catalyse to implement Agenda 21.

The world has always been constantly changing and so has its climate, but it seems to me probable that humankind with its pollution and use of the world’s resources is a contributor to recent change.
