Headway to hold an eight-hour dance marathon

IF you are suffering Strictly Come Dancing withdrawal symptoms, Headway Essex may have the tonic.
The brain injuries charity based in Colchester is holding a an eight-hour dance marathon at Marks Tey Parish Hall on Sunday, February 10.
A team of dance teachers will be putting participants through their paces from 9am.
Dancers are encouraged to dress according to their favourite decade and prizes will be awarded, including for the best fancy dress costume.
Among the first to sign up for a fun day are the staff from Headfirst in High Street, Wivenhoe.
Anna Smith, Headway’s fundraising manager, said: “This is a new event and we hope the community will get involved and bring some energy and enthusiasm.
“We would also love to hear from any dance teachers or aerobic instructors who can help us lead some of the dances.”
