Bishop of Colchester "No crisis within the church" Bishop of Colchester "No crisis within the church"

THE BISHOP of Colchester lead a special service to assure parishioners there is no crisis within the church.

The Right Rev Christopher Morgan lead a holy communion and prayer service at St Andrew’s Parish Church, Marks Tey, on Thursday.

It follows three turbulent months for the Church of England after the general synod’s rejection of women bishops made the headlines.

Speaking to the Gazette before the service, he said: “One of our tasks as a church is how do we hold diversity and view points without them becoming divisive.”

Clearly the bishop is out of touch with many of the clergy and ordinary parishioners. False platitudes do not help.

the church of england is in turmoil because of its protestant attitude which has nothing to do with religion and more about the one self plural.
they want women clergy
they want women bishops
they want homosexual clergy
they allow marriage in the clergy.
eventually they will have a married gay couple as clergy living in the parishes if it is not already the case now.
their religions and beliefs is a laughing stock to GOD across the board:
they get paid full whack salaries when other denominations like roman catholic priests live on peanuts.
they are divided on abortion (which is totally repugnant no life should be killed).
they are the bastions of the vicar of diblley mentality and turkeys on the back door at christmas time.
they are falling on their own theological sword.
which will become rather incisive for them.

There is a crisis in the Anglican Church because of our weak bishops. The atheists, politically correct, women's libbers, gays, etc. have all sensed the weakness that our bishops have allowed to develop and are busily working away at undermining us still further. The scriptures are clear and cannot be altered to suit a trendy secularism. Sorry Bishop Christopher, there is a crisis in the Anglican church and you are partly to blame for it.

The rot started when they abandoned the King James bible.
Also, how can they be happy to appoint gay bishops, but not women bishops? So inconsistent, so bizarre.
And, over the last century or so we have grown out of religion, so let's consign it to history where it belongs.
