Custom finished guitar stolen from shop wall
A GUITAR shop manager has offered a reward for a custom designed guitar stolen from the shop wall.
Mat Ottley, manager of the Trevor Durrant Guitar Centre in the Cowdray Centre, Colchester, was furious to discover a brazen thief had stolen the £2,500 guitar in broad daylight.
It was taken sometime during the day between Monday, January 7, and Wednesday, January 9.
Police are appealing for information following the theft and Mr Ottley has offered £500 for information leading to the return of the guitar and conviction of the person responsible.
The guitar is a PRS USA Tremonti in faded blue burst with the serial number 181658.
Anyone with information about the theft call Colchester Police Station on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
