One lane closed on northbound A12

ONE lane is closed on the northbound A12 at Stratford St Mary after a four-vehicle collision.

Traffic is queuing from junction 29, at Colchester.

Motorists are being warned to expect delays of 25 minutes.

An ambulance crew arrived at the scene at 5pm and paramedics took one patient to the Princess Alexandra Hospital, in Harlow.

A second patient was treated at the scene.

a quick 1hr 10 mins by road. They'll probably be better by the time they arrive in Harlow

The important thing here is not that one lane was blocked, but that there was an accident in which at least one person was badly hurt. Gazette, please sort out your priorities.
Let's hope the casualties each make a full recovery.
