Number Nine sold and could become a bar
NUMBER Nine restaurant has been sold and a lounge bar could reopen in its place.
The lease for the North Hill restaurant, which boasted Michelin Star ambitions, has been sold by owner Tony Cole to an unnamed bidder.
The businessman said his operating company, Reckin, did not owe any outstanding debt.
He also remained tight-lipped on the future of the premesis but said it would be renamed and could open within a matter of weeks.
Exclusive interview with Mr Cole in Wednesday's Gazette.

Nothing he does seems to merit anything other than criticism.
Whilst it keeps us 'morally outraged' folks typing, it simply confers an undeserved and unearned, minor celebrity tag on this person.
Let him wallow in anonymity.

Stop giving this guy publicity.

I feel very sorry for the unfortunate residents of that care home, which I hope is inspected regularly. Would be good if the Gazette could identify the care home, so that relatives of the residents can keep a close eye on conditions there.

If he has sold it, maybe he can stump up the monies he owes Frank Wright butchers.
Whether he made any money from this transaction remains to be seen, but even if he did, it will not be enough to pay off old creditors like Frank Wright, even if they still have a claim in law, which perhaps they haven't.

Thanks for your researches at Companies House.
Some people think it doesn't matter much about wrongdoers of this type, after all nobody was killed or injured. But they can ruin the lives of others, for example those of their suppliers that may go under because of not getting paid.
