Whistleblower Carole Dennis, of Colchester, said she raised serious concerns over the welfare of her mum with the owners of Ashcroft Care Home in Eight Ash Green.
* Residents in Colchester who do not recycle properly could be fined up to £1,000. Councillor Martin Hunt said the action was a last resort but one which could be used for serial offenders.
