Students are honoured for their achievements
HIGH-flying students have been honoured for their achievements at an awards ceremony.
More than 1,000 former students from Colchester Sixth Form College and their guests attended the celebration at Charter Hall in Colchester.
VIP guests included the Colchester mayor Christopher Arnold and his wife, Amanda, Colchester MP Sir Bob Russell, Bryn Morris, registrar of Essex University, and Jim Godfrey, a former college student who is now a media and political consultant.
A number of awards were given including special awards for outstanding achievement.
