RECRUITMENT firm Adecco delivered presents to children at Colchester General Hospital.
Louise Thomas and Susie Dow asked local businesses to donate gifts and were overwhelmed with the response.
Jim Last, manager at the branch in Sir Isaacs Walk, said: “The kids absolutely loved it.
“It is good for the children who are stuck in hospital to have something as it gives them a laugh and a smile. It’s also nice for their brothers and sisters too.
“We were overwhelmed and has different forms of donations, from collection boxes we could go and buy toys with and all sorts of games and other presents too.
“There was a car full of presents and we had donations from businesses in a number of different sectors, which was nice."
