Essex: Police looking for owners of wooden box and ornaments
Police are hoping to reunite a wooden box and ornament with its rightful owner after it was found in mid-Essex.
Officers were called shortly after 10am on Wednesday after the wooden box and china cat was found by a dog walker on Lower Stock Road in West Hanningfield.
The box contains photographs.
It is thought to have been dumped by burglars and so police are looking to identify its owner and hand it back to them.
Anyone who believes they own the items asked to call Chelmsford Police Station on 101.

Surely if it was from a burglary it would be on a list of missing items? Or is this a case of 'no point reporting our burglary because the police are too busy catching motorists to bother with our stolen items'?
