School application deadline looms

PARENTS looking for primary school places are being urged to apply soon as the deadline fast approaches.
Children born between September 1 2008 and August 31 2009 must apply now for the next intake.
The deadline for applications is January 15, with any late entries being considered only after all others have been processed.
Applications can be made online at the Essex County Council website, which also has information such as school details, Ofsted reports, admissions criteria and catchment area information.
