Cash stolen in street robbery

A MAN was grabbed by the neck in a robbery.
The 20-year-old was walking on Morant Road, Colchester, when he was grabbed and tried to fight off his attacker.
The thief stole cash from the man's wallet before running off.
The fight happened at the junction with Wimpole Road just after 2.30am on Sunday, December 23.
The assailant is described as white, aged in his mid-20s, approximately 6ft 2ins tall, has broad shoulders, is of slim build and has short, ginger hair.
He was wearing blue jeans, a black long-sleeved top and a dark hoodie jacket underneath.
The victim sustained minor facial injuries, but did not require any medical treatment.
