BILLY the teddy bear helped raise hundreds for charity.
Shoppers at Linen Direct, Long Wyre Street, were asked to guess the name of the cuddly toy.
Shop regular, Sylvia Bruce, was drawn out of the hat and got to take Billy home and meet Colchester Mayor Christopher Arnold and mayoress, Amanda Arnold, at the shop on Saturday.
The shop raised more than £430 for Children in Need.
