Head on crash at Tiptree junction

TWO drivers were taken to hospital after a head on collision near Tiptree.
Police, paramedics and firefighters were called to Newbridge Road at the junction with Stockhouse Road just before 10am on Friday.
A blue Ford van and blue Ford Astra collided leaving both drivers needing emergency treatment.
Paramedics treated them at the scene before taking them to hospital with non life threatening injuries.
Officers helped clear the cars and debris and the road was cleared two hours later.
