Fire safety demo cancelled after crews called to flat blaze

A HIGH Street safety demonstration by Colchester firefighters had to be cancelled after all the crews were called to a flat fire.
Crews from Colchester were due to park in the High Street yesterday to offer Christmas fire safety advice, including how to stop your Christmas tree catching fire and what to do if it does.
The display, which will include the use of televisions at the Hughes electrical shop, will be re-arranged.
