Youngsters from the Essex University Day Nursery meet construction site manager Nicolas Villepinte.
YOUNGSTERS met a real-life Bob the Builder when they visited a construction site.
Tots from the Essex University Day Nursery learnt about building and how to be safe on building sites during a trip to The Meadows - a new 648-bed student accommodation centre being built by the university and due to open in the autumn.
Site manager Nicolas Villepinte from construction company Bouygues showed the children a mini-digger and a large one so the four-year-olds could see them close-up in action, and a crane on site was busy lifting blocks.
