RAIDERS ransacked a town centre shop and stole £1,800 of pounds worth of stock.

The Original Factory Outlet store is counting the cost of a burglary in the early hours of yesterday morning, December 10.

Raiders smashed their way into the shop in Kingsway through windows to steal perfumes and aftershaves.

Store manager Matt Newell was alerted to the break-in at around 12.50am by the shop’s alarm.

The shop was closed on Monday morning until 10.30am while police and shop staff assessed what was taken.

Anyone with information should call police on 101.

Another burglary, another easy crime in the middle of the town because the police are all sat in Clacton.

"Reactive not Proactive" should be the Harwich police moto.

Same m.o as many of the others. Maybe they should look for someone who likes smashing windows(with a hammer?) Not rocket science!
