Optician launches sight charity appeal

AN OPTICIAN is trying to raise £60,000 for a sight charity by cooking up a storm.

Malkiat Singh, an optician at Eyes Rite in Kingsway, Dovercourt, has challenged himself to raise the cash for Optometry Giving Sight.

As well as asking for donations he is also happy to cook curry at people’s homes for parties of 25 people in return for support for the charity.
