Clacton: Home raider disturbed during break-in

A HAVE-A-GO burglar was disturbed during a Clacton break-in.

The man smashed a window in Boxted Avenue, shortly after 6.30pm on Monday, December 3.

But he was scared off after the homeowner returned, and escaped empty handed.

He is described as white, in his early 20s and was wearing white Adidas clothing.

Detectives are urging anyone with information to contact Clacton police on 101.

A have a go burglar? don't you mean have a go hero disturbs thief? Unless you meant opportunistic burglar. However i don't suppose the would be thief had a scheduled appointment to break in, so i imagine it is a given that the burglar thought he would "have a go"
But i see clacton criminals have gained a small brain cell, wearing all white so they can hide in the snow if anyone comes along maybe

Also why was it the homeowner returned, and then escaped empty handed, which apparently is what scared the burglar. Was worried he too may escape empty handed and so elected to try his next appointment an hope to luck that the owner of that property didnt run off empty handed too.
