THE ADOPTIVE mother of a boy with mental health problems said not enough is being done to help them.
Veronica Ping, 56,wants Jack, 11, to be classified as disabled so he can gain access to specialist clubs, carers and schools.
But despite having severe ADHD and an IQ of just 47, they have been repeatedly refused a social worker under Essex County Council checks.
Essex County Council said it would meet the family to discuss the issue.
Miss Ping adopted Jack from her great-niece in 1992.
His birth mother also has severe learning difficulties and was addicted to Class A drugs during pregnancy.
