A RESTAURANT in Wivenhoe is one step closer as formal plans have been submitted.
The ground floor of a unit in the Cook’s Shipyard development could become a 50-seat restaurant if Colchester Council approve plans submitted by Lexden Restorations.
An indicative planning application showing how a 50-cover restaurant might look and applying for change of use for the site is due to be decided by the authority by the end of February.
The plans also include a cycle storage area and folding doors which would open up along the side of the eating area.
